Last night's meeting was wonderful. Sean and Richard gave us a great deal of information about starting and running a watch program. We had 21 attendees including 5 home owners from Gran Paradiso. Fourteen home owners have indicated that they will volunteer to participate in a neighborhood watch for the West Villages.
We agreed to meet again on Monday, June 20th, at 5 pm in the Capri Club II for the purpose of deciding to either join the existing North Port Neighborhood Watch (NPNW), or to form our own independent group. Please review the NPNW:

Regardless of how we organize ourselves, the meeting on the 20th should also begin the process of deciding what it is we will be watching and how we will be doing it.
