Board of Supervisors Meeting - April 12, 2016

I will be skipping this next meeting. Looking at the agenda, it appears to be just a lot of procedural stuff:

• formal adoption of the Unit of Development Number 4
• formal adoption of public speaking rules (seems to be just a codification of past procedures)
• formal adoption of rules of order for conducting board business. I didn't see any significant departures from past informal practice at board meetings. Guess the new legal counsel is just dotting the i's and crossing the t's.

You can read the previous meeting minutes, the current meeting agenda, and any supporting documents from the comfort of your own office or home several days before any meeting. The meeting email notifications and availability of the online "meeting book" is usually announced on the Friday before a normal Tuesday meeting.

This next meeting, and it looks like all future meetings, will be held in the new meeting location of the Sarasota County/Englewood Sports Complex located at 1300 S. River Road, Englewood, Florida 34223.
