IslandWalk Breaks Ground on Amenities Center

Saturday, April 16, 2011 was the offical ground breaking ceremony for the new amenities center and resort style pool at IslandWalk. The ceremony was officiated by all five North Port City Commissioners and representatives of Pulte Homes. The center should be open for use before the end of 2011 (as promised), with a grand opening ceremony in early 2012.

Food, live music, and beverages were served at the new model center following the ground breaking ceremony.

Thanks for keeping us all up to date. Will the Center have fitness equipment as part of the amenities? Will the resort pool include shower facilities?

The moving van is coming on June 7th. We look forward to be full time residents of the community.

Yes and yes. Congrats on the big move!! That puts us two votes closer to the magic 500 number for a popular election referendum question on the ballot in 2012 (I hope).
