Todays District Board of Supervisors meeting was mostly business as usual. There is still no resolution to the Sam Rogers request for additional work and partial opening of the Gran Paradiso amenities center. The bond holders have agreed to a telephone conference call to discuss the issue; but appear to be still very reluctant to approve any additional expenditures. The conference call should take place in a few days and will hopefully result in a go or no-go final decision.
The other item of note from the meeting was a status report from the District Engineer stating that the US Hwy 41 and West Villages Parkway intersection would be open in about 60 days. His explanation of the delay in opening the intersection can be read in another post on this blog: http://wvidinfo.blogspot.com/2011/02/west-villages-parkway-update.html

Thanks Paul. Any idea if the G.P. developers are going to make their property tax payment on time?
Nothing official has been said at any of the meetings; BUT, my best guess is that the answer is tied to the finishing of the amenities center. Without that, the new "mystery" builder will not enter the project. So, No amenities center = No new partner = probably No tax payment.
Tax is delinquent after April 1st. Only time will tell.
